Gaptec DC-DC converters are especially designed for the requirements of railway technology according to the EN50155. The series can be used for required track voltages: 72 VDC, 96 VDC & 110 VDC with a 4:1 input voltage range (40–160 VDC). An advanced insulation strength (2250 VDC), high efficiency at low ripple & noise levels and an extended temperature range (–40 °C – +85 °C) as well as built-in protection circuits are characteristics for those DC-DC converters. The design complies with IEC60950, UL60950 & EN 60950 standards.
